MOBILE, Ala. - The Jackson State Tigers fell to the University of South Alabama Jaguars 18-0, Tuesday night at the Stanky Field. The Tigers fall to an overall record of 31-15. The Jaguars scored three runs in the fourth, two in the second and four in the third, before the Tigers had their first hit. The game was called after seven innings due to the mercy rule. The Tigers will return to action at home on Friday at 6 p.m. when they host the Alabama State Hornets for the first of a three game series. While action begins at 1 p.m. Saturday the Jackson State Baseball team invites all little league baseball teams to its doubleheader. Admission is free for children under the age of 14 and players are not required to be in uniform to enjoy the action. |
