BATON ROUGE, La. - The Jackson State men's golf team won the 2008 SWAC presidential golf tournament, hosted by Southern University, in Baton Rouge, La. on March 2.

The Tigers finished the two-day tournament with a total score of 612, 10 strokes ahead of second place Texas Southern University. The Tigers Brett Benson earned top medalist honors with a score of 147.
