JACKSON, MISS. - The Jackson State men's tennis team fell to Mississippi College 3-4, Thursady posting a 7-4 non-conference record.

Sergio Salina and Alejandro Martinez won the Tigers only doubles match 8-5. In singles play the Tigers broke even, tying 3-3 with Mississippi College. Jackson State's Yacouba Treore beat Jerron Rayborn 6-1, 7-6, Sergio Salina beat Cory Seay 6-2, 7-5 and Arturo Jimenez beat Walter Freeman 7-1, 6-4.

The Tigers return to action at home on March 15, when they take on Southeastern Louisiana.
