March 6, 2008 HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Jackson State women's basketball team lost its second game in a row, falling 65-57 to the Alabama A&M Lady Bulldogs Thursday night. Two Lady Tigers scored in double figures. LaSharee Christian scored a team high 16 points and Erica Trahan followed with 14 points and nine rebounds. Christian Malone led Alabama A&M with 18 points, Felicia Drummond followed with 16 and Katrich Williams added 12 points. Alabama A&M led 28-17 at halftime. JSU outscored the Lady Bulldogs 40-37 in the second half, but could not overcome the first half deficit. Jackson State will return to action Saturday, Mar. 8 when the Lady Tigers face Alabama State in Montgomery, Ala. |
