BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Jackson State Lady Tigers will take on number six seeded Mississippi Valley State Devilettes in the semifinals of the 2008 SWAC Basketball Tournament on Friday at noon at the Fair Park Arena, in Birmingham, Ala.

Number three seeded Alabama A&M suffered an upset loss Thursday in the quarterfinal round by Mississippi Valley 67-61.

The Lady Tigers successfully defeated the Devilettes in both regular season games 76-57 and 56-50.
