BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Jackson State women's golf team finished in eighth place at the Ann Rhoads BSC Shootout, hosted by Birmingham Southern at Timberline Golf Course in Calera, Ala. Samford University won the event with a two day score of 635. JSU finished with a total score of 651. On the first day the Lady Tigers shot a 329 and followed that with a 322. In the individual standings, Shasta Averyhardt came in fourth place for JSU. She shot a 153 (76, 77). Merielle LeBlanc finished 19th with a 161 (81, 80), Jennifer Sells was 39th with a 167 (90, 77) and Nikeya Peay and Amy Breakwell finished 46th and 80th respectively. |
