MOBILE, Ala. - The Jackson State women's golf team finished in a ninth place tie with Middle Tennessee State out of 18 teams at the 2008 USA Lady Jaguars Invitational in Mobile, Alabama. The Lady Tigers finished the first day with a score of 320 and followed with 314 for a final score of 634.

Shasta Averyhardt led her team with a 19th place finish, she shot 155 (80, 75). Meriell LeBlanc finished in 24th place with a 156 (75, 81), Nikeya Peay finished with 162 (84, 78), Jennifer Sells finished with 168 (88, 80), Lauren Ragland finished with 172 (81, 91) and Amy Breakwell finished with 188 (95, 93).
