JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State women's tennis team beat the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff 5-0 Saturday afternoon.

JSU went undefeated in doubles play. At No. 1 Angela Rose and Darel Smith beat Stephanie Forte and Alesia Wright 8-0. Valentina Prado and Paulina Vargas won 8-0 over Carla Burns and Morgan Mackey at No. 2. Geneva Warren and Dainella Pimentel won by default.

In singles action Vargas defeated Forte 8-0 at No. 1. Rose beat Burns 8-1 at No. 3 and Prado defeated Cade 8-0 at No. 5.
