South Meckenburg High's Rolanda Sue has signed to play tennis at Johnson C. Smith University. Rolanda played in the recreational leagues in the Charlotte area.

Coach James Cuthbertson is excited about this acquisition. "She is very coachable and will help us contend for top honors in the CIAA Conference," said Cuthbertson. "There is so much potential there that it is unreal. She is solid in all phases of the game."

Rolanda is the daughter of Ms. Allison Hercules of Charlotte, North Carolina. The proposed science major was active in Upward Bound, Tutoring and worked part-time at Harris Teeter.
