BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins women's tennis team will take on Cabrini College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Mary Washington. The Blue Jays are coming off their second straight Centennial Conference title and post a 15-3 record. The Cavaliers enter the tournament with a 14-3 mark and have won four straight PAC titles.

Hopkins and Cabrini will face off at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 2 at the Battleground Athletic Complex in Fredericksburg, VA. The winner will take on The College of New Jersey (12-6) at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 3. In the other first round match on Friday, Methodist (20-3) will take on Elizabethtown (13-3). The winner of that match will face host Mary Washington (20-3) on Saturday. Sunday's match between the two second round winners will be take place at noon. Hopkins made its first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2007, beating Moravian in the first round before falling to Mary Washington in the second. The Blue Jays have posted their fourth consecutive double-digit win season under head coach Chuck Willenborg. The winningest coach in program history, Willenborg has guided the Blue Jays to a 58-15 record in just four seasons.
