HAVERFORD, PA - The Johns Hopkins track and field teams had several athletes competing at the Haverford Quad Meet on Monday afternoon.

On the women's side Sharon Green finished the women's 5,000-meter run in 20:36.39 to take fourth place. Jessica Diehl was 16th in the 800-meters with a time of 2:46.12.

Freshman Derek Cheng captured the men's 5,000-meter run on the night. Cheng crossed the line in 16:16.42 and was one of seven Blue Jays to finish in the top ten in that race. Sophomore Michael Yuan took second with a time of 16:17.98 while Rick Carrick finished in 16:19.28 to take fourth place. Hopkins swept seventh through 10th place in the event as Drew Lefkof (16:30.88), Andrew Harrington (16:32.18), Dan Pike (16:35.26) and Andrew Barnett (16:37.83) crossed the line in that order.

Hopkins will return to the track on February 15 at the Lafayette Rider Games.
