RALEIGH, NC - The Johns Hopkins track and field teams had several athletes compete at the Raleigh Relays on Friday and Saturday in North Carolina. The Blue Jays had one runner on the women's side and three runners on the men's side.

Emma Hiza ran a 41:01.36 to take 10th place in the 10,000-meters.

Graham Belton had a strong showing for the Blue Jay men. Belton finished fifth in the 5,000 meter run section IV. He ran a 15:55.57 while teammate David Sigmon took 14th place with a time of 16:12.60.

In the 1,500-meter run section II, Belton finished 40th with a time of 4:13.54 while Sigmon was 52nd with a time of 4:20.31.

In the 10,000-meter run, Patrick Brandon placed 19th with a time of 32:16.99.

Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, April 5 at the Muhlenberg Invitational.
