TOWSON, MD - The Johns Hopkins women's track and field team competed at the Goucher College Classic on Saturday afternoon in Towson, MD. Sharon Green placed second in the 10,000-meter run to lead the Blue Jays.

Green ran a 44:51.11 to take second place in her event. Allyson Seger also took second place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Seger completed the race in a time of 13:33.14.

Jessica Chin claimed a ninth place finish in the 1,500-meters after posting a time of 5:16.72. Kelly Gonzales had a strong day for the Blue Jays finishing fifth in the 800-meter run. She had a time of 2:33.28 while teammate Jessica Diehl took 12th with a time of 2:48.42.

Meagan Detrani placed 10th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 31.10.

Hopkins will return to the track on April 5 at the Muhlenberg Invitational.
