July 15, 2008 ALPHARETTA, Ga. - The Kennesaw State men's basketball program concluded the 7th Annual Fighting Owl Club Golf Classic on Monday afternoon at the Manor Golf and Country Club and enjoyed another record-breaking event. "We're glad that we were able to have another successful tournament," said head coach Tony Ingle. "I've often said that we have the finest group of supporters around, and to be able to have the success we had today with the difficult economic climate we're facing is a testament to our supporters." Close to 100 participants enjoyed an afternoon of golf and giveaways that help support the KSU men's basketball program. The 18-hole, shotgun format was preceded by a box lunch and was followed with a barbeque buffet, the awards presentations and a silent auction. The day also featured numerous competitions including the Closest-to-the-Hole event sponsored by Blue Ribbon Foods, the Hole-in-One Challenge sponsored the PGA Tour Superstore and the grand prize giveaway of a weeklong vacation courtesy of Golf Lifestyles and the PGA Tour Superstore. The winner of this year's tournament was the foursome that included George Sigeti, Fred Hartzell, Chad Landers and Mike Keaveny. The group, who represented the PGA Tour Superstore, shot a 20 under par 52. More than 20 companies and organizations supported this year's tournament including title sponsors; Legendary Graphics, O'Charley's, Blue Ribbon Foods, PGA Tour Superstore and Tournament Golf USA, Inc. Corporate sponsors for the 2008 tournament included AlphaGraphics, BB&T, Chick fil-A, Dentistry of Olde Towne, Elite Sports Marketing, Golfsmith, J.
