CLEARWATER, Fla. - Kennesaw State's game against Fairfield has been postponed until Saturday morning as the Under Armour Invitational has once again been plagued by rain and lightning.

The two teams began play at about 5:00 p.m. and managed to get through one and a half innings before the game was halted. The Owls are leading, 1-0, in the bottom of the second inning after Jessica Cross led off the bottom of the first with a solo homer.

The game is set to resume on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. As of now, Kennesaw State is still scheduled to play Syracuse at 2:30 p.m. before closing out the four-day event with a 1:00 p.m. showdown with the Indiana Hoosiers.
