Carolyn Lipovsky Garners La Salle 'Athlete of the Week' Award

The senior trackster won the 1000m at the A-10 Track Championships

PHILADELPHIA, PA- Over the weekend senior Carolyn Lipovsky (Edison, NJ/ Bishop Ahr) sped off the starting line to take the 1000m title (2:55.14) and second in the mile (4:52.33) at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Track Championships at the University of Rhode Island. The Explorers finished fifth overall at the event.

Lipovsky was also a member of winning distance medley relay team at Yale's Gigengack Invitational that set the second-best time in La Salle running history (11:45.92).
