Philadelphia, PA - In a battle of two Atlantic 10 teams whose fortunes have been reversed - the red-hot La Salle University Explorers (14-13/8-5), winners of five straight, will take on the Rhode Island Rams (20-9/6-8) who were once ranked as high as 21st in the nation and thought to be a lock for the NCAA tournament but have dropped six of their last seven games.

The Explorers come into the game in a four-way tie for second place in the Atlantic 10 and attempting to earn their second opening-round bye in the conference championships in the last three seasons - the finished the 2005-06 season in third place with a 10-6 A-10 record.

Senior sensation Darnell Harris continues his pursuit of the Atlantic 10 career three-point field goal record just eight triples shy of tying Massachusetts' Monty Mack with 321.

Despite being held to just six points on Wednesday night the Explorers still managed to place four players in double-digits and defeat Fordham, 83-78 at Rose Hill Gym in the Bronx.
