![]() Kurzinsky's Third Place Finish Paces Explorers At Swarthmore Invitational
Oct. 20, 2009 WILMINGTON, DE - Sophomore Randy Kurzinsky finished third with a six-over 77 to lead the La Salle golf team to a ninth place finish at the Swarthmore Invitational at the Rock Manor Country Club on Monday. Sophomore Tyler Batory also had a solid showing, firing a nine-over 80, to tie for 11th on the par-71, 6,405-yard course. As a team, La Salle shot a 343 (+59). Junior Jake Costigan carded a 90 (+19) to tie for 46th and freshman Tom Doyle had a 96 (+25) to tie for 51st. Freshman Joe Taorima shot a 96 (+26) to tie for 55th. Josh Feldschneider of Rutgers-Camden shot an even-par 71 to capture win the individual title. Rutgers-Camden also captured the team title, shooting a 312 for first place. La Salle will wrap up its fall season on Saturday at the Philadelphia University Invitational at the ACE Club in Lafayette Hill, PA.
