NEWPORT NEWS, VA - The Atlantic 10 Conference released its 2010 postseason honors Wednesday afternoon, and La Salle University senior forward Morgan Robertson has been selected as the league's Student-Athlete of the Year, the school's first in basketball.

Robertson earned the honor after leading the Explorers in points (10.1) and rebounds (5.8) per game and posting a 3.89 grade point average with a dual major in psychology and political science.

With the award, Robertson also repeats as an Academic All-Conference selection, also a first at the school for women's basketball. Only two other Explorers have ever been named Academic All-Conference, Carrie Jewett (1998) and Jennifer Zenszer (2001).

This honor comes on the heels of her repeat selection on the 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 First Team, the first of three academic honors for her this season.

In 2009, Robertson was named to five academic teams, which included CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 First Team, the NACDA Division I-AAA Scholar-Athlete Team, the A-10 Academic All-Conference Team, the Philadelphia Big 5 All-Academic Team, and the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team.
