 Rachel Baker Selected to A-10 All-Tournament Team

PITTSBURGH, PA- Following Massachusetts victory over Richmond in the Atlantic 10 Championships on Sunday, it was announced by the conference that La Salle sophomore Rachel Baker was named to its All-Tournament Team. In Friday's semifinal matchup with the now back-to-back A-10 Champion UMass Minutewomen, Baker provided a goal and scooped up a ground ball. Baker's goal kept the Explorers in the contest in the opening minutes, as her tally is what deadlocked the game at two a piece. Before receiving this honor, Baker was named A-10 Defensive Player of the Week back on March 15. For the second straight season, Baker started in every game for the Explorers, helping her finish with nine goals on the year along with team-bests in ground balls (28) and caused turnovers (27).
