CHICAGO - Senior Brian Clancy scored and knocked in a run but the Flyers fell 15-3 to Saint Xavier on Thursday afternoon in a non-conference game. Saint Xavier scored three in the first but their big inning came in the fourth when they plated six. Lewis scored a run in the top of the second when junior Chris Brigham knocked in junior Chris McCall. The Flyers added two in the seventh on an RBI double by Clancy and a ground out by freshman Ben Stephen that knocked in Clancy. Freshman Charles Gille (2-4) took the loss for Lewis. The Flyers fall to 13-18 while Saint Xavier improve to 22-16. Lewis plays at conference-foe Southern Indiana on Saturday and Sunday. |
