Game One Box Score
Game Two Box Score

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Junior Chris McCall homered in game two, but the Flyers fell 21-3 and 3-1 in a doubleheader to Great Lakes Valley Conference opponent Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon at Brennan Field.

McCall launched a bomb down the right field line in the second inning for the Flyers' only run of game two. It had plenty of distance and stayed just inside the foul pole for McCall's fourth home run of the season. Senior Jon Guzzo (4-2) was the tough luck loser in game two. He allowed 10 hits but struckout eight, including several with runners on base to keep the Flyers in it. He went the distance for the fourth straight outing.

In game one, senior Tim Harmatys started but only went one inning after leaving the game due to injury. Junior Chris Brigham (2-1) came in allowed eight earned runs over 2.2 innings. The Flyers scored two runs in the third inning on a single by senior Mike Smith that knocked in sophomore Ryan McManaman and junior Ryan Reynolds. In the sixth Reynolds scored his second run of the game after hitting a double with one out.

Lewis is now 16-24 (10-16 GLVC) while Indianapolis is 31-17 (15-11 GLVC). The Flyers and Greyhounds play again tomorrow in a doubleheader. First pitch is at noon for senior day.
