ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis University senior Stephan Bolt has been selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V men's basketball third team. Bolt, a 6-6 forward, was chosen to the College Division third team in voting conducted by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America. A sport management major, Bolt is a two-time Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection. He also has earned Lewis' Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes two times and is a Deans' list student. On the court Bolt is averaging double figures in both points (15.8) and rebounds (10.2) and is just one of three players in the GLVC who average double digits in both categories. He has eclipsed 20 points in eight games, matching his career high of 28 points at Rockhurst on Dec. 1, and he pulled down a career-high 22 rebounds at Northwood on Dec. 29. The District V College Division is comprised of all NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA schools in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ontario and Manitoba. Honorees are chosen based on their excellence in the classroom and in competition. |
