DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Sophomore Josh Butterfield led the Flyers by placing 11th among 64 golfers at the two-day Bethune-Cookman Spring Invitational. Butterfield (73-73=146) helped the Flyers finish seventh among 12 teams. It was Lewis' first competition of the spring season. Sophomore Paul Dagys (78-79=157) finished tied for 34th, and senior Brian Carlson (81-77=158) tied for 37th. Junior Greg Roderique (77-83=160) tied for 44th, and sophomore Peter Tanaka (85-80=165) placed 51st. The Flyers (309-309=618) golf next at the Grover Page Classic (Jackson, Tenn.) on Mar. 2-4. |
