IPFW took the second game by scoring three of the final four points of the game after it was tied at 27. Despite holding an eight point lead at 17-9 in game three the Flyers almost let the game slip away. Holding a 29-26 advantage IPFW tied it at 29 with three straight points. After trading serves into the net, freshman Brian Muesenfechter was subbed in and delivered a malicious serve that scattered the Mastodons' offense and forced Brock Ullrich into an attack error and the game three victory for the Flyers. Game four was all Lewis, out-hitting IPFW .412 to .111. Kelnhofer had kills on two of the final three points to give the match to the Flyers.

Lewis improves to 7-4 (3-2 MIVA) while the Mastodons fell to 5-4 (2-2 MIVA). Lewis hosts No. 4 Cal. State Northridge tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
