ASHLAND, Ohio - Junior Amy Sachs tied for fourth among a field of 69 golfers to help Lewis finish third at the Ashland University Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at the Country Club of Ashland. Sachs scored the Flyers' low round each day of the tournament, shooting 83 on first day and following with an 82 on Sunday. Junior Jamie Siedlaczek finished tied for 15th after following an opening-round 87 with an 84 on day two. Sophomore Carly Keeler (86-88=174) tied for 21st, and sophomore Allison Snyder (89-88=177) tied for 31st. Freshmen Courtney Kellogg (93-89=182) and Teresa Sandri (96-87=183) finished tied for 40th and 42nd, respectively. The Flyers (345-340=685) were third out of nine teams. Lewis returns to action an April 18 when the Flyers host the Aviator Invitational. |
