March 30, 2008

Final Stats

Nashville, TN - The rain delayed conclusion to the A-Sun Series of the week did not end well for the Lady Bisons who lost to Florida Gulf Coast 13-2 in five innings at Draper Diamond Sunday morning.

Sophomore pitcher Christen Campbell took the start for the Lady Bisons but allowed seven runs before being relieved by senior Kim Jacobson.

Campbell picked up the first run for Lipscomb when she singled to first base and scored on a double by sophomore Kellie Sirus in the bottom of the first inning.

Sophomore shortstop Abby Keese added one more run for the Lady Bisons when she hit a solo shot to left field in the bottom of the third inning.

The Lady Bisons fall to 13-18 overall and 5-4 in the conference and the Eagles rise to 40-8 overall and 8-0 in the conference.
