Final Stats

The Lady Bisons defeated Tennessee State 2-0 in the second game of the doubleheader to earn the series sweep and extend the Lady Bisons road winning streak to ten games.

Senior Kim Jacobson turned in her most impressive performance of the season, sitting down eight batters and only allowing two hits to earn the shutout.

Both the Lady Bisons runs came in the fourth inning. Sophomore right fielder Kellie Sirus started the inning with a single up the middle, and senior first baseman Heather Collins followed up reaching on a fielders choice.

Sirus would score latter on a sacrifice fly by sophomore shortstop Abby Keese.

Freshman MacKenzie Tucker, pinch running for Collins scored on a single by senior catcher Jennifer Allsup.

The Lady Bisons improve to 29-22 on the season and are preparing to close out the regular season next Wednesday against Western Kentucky. The Lady Bisons will honor their graduating seniors before the game with senior day activities.
