Tracy Robinson Named Horizon League Player Of The Week
Feb. 5, 2008
CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago senior Tracy Robinson has been named Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Week it was announced Monday. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 19.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.5 steals, while shooting 67 percent (12 for 18) from the field in a pair of Rambler victories last week. He followed up that performance by erupting for a career-high 23 points, hitting 6 of 8 shots from the field and 10 of 12 tries from the foul line, in a 65-53 win versus Cleveland State. Robinson, the first Rambler to earn Horizon League Player of the Week accolades this season, is averaging 10.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.4 apg, 1.0 bpg and 1.0 spg this season. He has scored in double figures in each of Loyola's last three games at the Gentile Center. The Ramblers are back in action Saturday, Feb. 9, when they host city and League rival UIC. |
