Feb. 5, 2008

CHICAGO - The Loyola University Chicago men's basketball team will travel to Williamsburg, Va., to face the College of William & Mary at 2 p.m. Eastern on Feb. 23 in the sixth annual O'Reilly ESPNU BracketBusters event. This will be the first-ever meeting between the schools and Loyola is 3-1 all-time versus current members of the Colonial Athletic Association. Loyola will be playing a CAA opponent for the first time since a Nov. 19, 1997 meeting at Georgia State.

William & Mary is 12-9 overall and 8-3 in the CAA and has won eight of its last nine games, with six of those wins coming by four points or less. Led by senior forward Laimis Kisielius, who averages 12.3 ppg, the Tribe also has a local player on its roster in 6-foot-7 senior guard Kyle Carrabine of Neuqua Valley High School.

Loyola is participating in the BracketBusters event for the fifth consecutive season and is venturing out of the Midwest for the first time in BracketBusters action. The Ramblers are 3-1 all-time in BracketBusters games, including a 1-1 mark in road contests.
