BEAUMONT, Calif. - Braving windy conditions that saw gusts up to 50 miles per hour, the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team posted a team score of 340 to place 16th through one round of play at the Braveheart Classic at Oak Valley Golf Club. Texas Christian leads the field with a 307 through 18 holes of play. Darkness prevented the completion of round two this afternoon.

Junior Armando Favela shot an 81 today to lead the Ramblers, while Thomas Greene carded an 85. Sean Bidzinski and Robert Caplin recorded 87s and Peter Tomkie posted a 90 in the wicked conditions to round out Loyola's lineup.

Tournament play concludes tomorrow morning.
