PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Loyola University Chicago junior Armando Favela shot a one-under-par 71 today and is tied for the lead in the independent men's division at the 22nd PGA Minority Collegiate Championship at the Ryder and Wanamaker courses at the PGA Golf Club. Favela is tied for the lead with Amit Odaiyar of Florida Atlantic, who also shot a 71 in opening-round action today.
