CHICAGO - The No. 13 Loyola University Chicago men's volleyball team out-hit Juniata College .301 to .174 en route to a 3-0 victory on Saturday evening at Alumni Gym. The Ramblers extend their winning streak to a season-high four matches as they improve to 10-6 on the season, while the Eagles fall to 6-7 on the year.

After trading points numerous times in the early stages of game one, Loyola took the lead, 12-10, on a kill by Nick Lamoureux. The Ramblers would not surrender their lead as they pulled out a 30-26 victory.

Game two was close early on, but the Ramblers broke it open on back-to-back kills by Mike Hutz and Ian Anderson to take a 10-8 advantage. Loyola never looked back as it eventually sealed game two, 30-23, on a Joe Guntli kill.

The third game was close throughout, as the score was tied a dozen times and the two teams exchanged leads twice. With the score knotted at 29 apiece, the Ramblers took advantage of two consecutive Juniata attack errors giving Loyola a 31-29 win.

Anderson led the Ramblers with 14 kills and eight digs while Guntli contributed 11 kills while hitting .455 on the evening. Hutz recorded 38 assists, three digs and a trio of aces for the Ramblers.
