5.21.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City recently signed Tulsa Edison graduate Emit Ball to play men's basketball in the 2008-2009 season.

Ball, a 20-year-old graduate of Tulsa Edison High School, was a guard for the Tulsa Edison Eagles and will play the same position for the MACU Evangels.

"We are very excited to have signed Emit," MACU Assistant Men's Basketball Coach Charles Goar said. "Emit is a very talented and gifted player. He is a good defensive player and will bring depth to our team."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
