Bears of Tomorrow at Maine vs. Hartford Baseball Game

 
 


A baseball Bears of Tomorrow willbe held on May 4.

ORONO, Maine-- The University of Maine is proud to provide a chance for children to meet and talk with University of Maine baseball players on Sunday, May 4. Maine athletics, together with Weight Watchers of Maine, will be hosting a Baseball Bears of Tomorrow event.

Behind-the-scenes tours and speeches conducted by Maine student-athletes and coaches focusing on teamwork, education, leadership, exercise, and good habits will be offered to all youth in attendance prior to the 1 p.m. start of the Maine baseball game against Hartford. The program starts at 10 a.m. with an address from head baseball coach Steve Trimper and will last until 12 p.m. The tour will take youth through the locker and training rooms and then onto the field where they are welcome to run the bases and see the dugouts. Along with the experience, the first 200 people to register will receive FREE tickets to that afternoon's game for their attendance to the Bears of Tomorrow event.
