ORONO, Maine - Seventy-five (75) University of Maine Black Bear student-athletes will be participating in graduation this Saturday, May 10, at Alfond Arena in Orono. This group of student-athletes includes those who completed degree requirements in December 2007, May 2008 and August 2008. In addition to the student-athletes, seven members of the cheer team and four student members of the athletic training staff will take part in the ceremonies this weekend.
"This is a tremendous accomplishment," said Director of Athletics Blake James. "These young men and women have excelled athletically and academically. We wish them the very best in all of their future endeavors."
