Women's Track Compete at Valentine Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. - The University of Maine women's track and field team competed at the Valentine Invitational at Boston University this weekend.

The women's team was led by the 4X400-meter relay team which placed fifth with a time of 3:53.21. Allison Howatt was 11th out of 169 sprinters in the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.06.

Vicki Tolton was 13th in the 400-meter run in a time of 57.41, while teammate Lindsay Burlock finished 14th in a time of 57.52. There were 100 competitors in the 400-meter run.

Maegan Burke was 14th in the shot put with a throw of 40-08.75, while Stephanie Jette was 16th in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:00.09.

Allyson Thomas was 20th in the pole vault with a height of 10-04.00. Micralyn Wiechman was 20th in the weight throw with a throw of 45-04.50.

Tanya Simard was 28th in the long jump with a leap of 16-02.25, while Tess Perry was 39th in the same event with a leap of 15-02.25.

Brenna Walsh was 33rd in the 3,000-meter run in 10:31.28, while Laura Brustolon was 34th in 10:32.70. Lital Pilosof was 38th in the 500-meter run in 1:20.96.

 

 

Vanessa Letourneau was 41st in the 800-meter run in 2:20.52. Lauren LaRoche was 45th in the mile run with a time of 5:12.82.
