First Day at the America East Indoor Track Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - The Women's Track and Field team competed in the first day of the America East Indoor Track Championships on the campus of Boston University Friday. Allyson Howatt finished first in the 200m dash with a time of 24.94. Howatt also finished second in the preliminaries of the 55m dash with a time of 7.22. Vicki Tolton and Lindsay Burlock finished one-two in the 400m dash with a times of 57.20 and 57.22, respectively. Rebecca Even finished 10th in the weight throw with a toss of 13.74m. The Women's Distance Medley team consisting of Jordan Daniel, Tess Perry, Erin Lawler and Lauren LaRoche finished seventh with a time of 12:34.58. The men's team joins the women tomorrow for the final day of competition at the Championships.
