Track & Field Competes at New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - The women's Track & Field team competed at the New England Championships on Saturday at the Boston University campus. They finished 18th overall out of 33 teams. Vicki Tolton and Lindsay Burlock finished fourth and sixth, respectively, in the 400m finals. Tolton finished with a time of 56.37 and Burlock with a time of 56.98. Lauren LaRoche finished 14th in the one mile run with a time of 5:09.37. Laura Brustolon and Brenna Walsh took 10th and 14th in the 3000m run, respectively. Brustolon finished with a time of 10:20.22 and Walsh finished with a time of 10:36.70. Tanya Simard finished 11th in the triple jump with a leap of 36'-4". Maegan Burke took 16th in the shot put with a toss of 39'-10.5". The women's 4x400 team took fifth with a time of 3:52.13. Women that qualified in today's and yesterday's New England Championships for the ECAC Championships will compete next weekend in Boston.
