C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll ![]()
IRVING, Texas - A total of 1,824 student-athletes, including 172 from Marshall University, have earned recognition to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2007-08 academic year, Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced today. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
UCF placed the highest number of student-athletes on the honor roll for the second year in a row, producing 194 members. East Carolina followed close behind with 192, while SMU ranked third (176). Marshall and Rice tied for fourth place with 172 student-athletes each on the list.
The Marshall swimming and diving team placed the most Thundering Herd athletes on the list (25), with women's soccer close behind (22).
Student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better also receive the Commissioner's Academic Medal. Those winners will be released tomorrow.
