Huntington, W.Va. - The Marshall football team's August 30 season-opener against Illinois state is quickly approaching and the time to renew Big Green Annual Fund Pledges is running out.

The Big Green has set a deadline of July 9 for Big Green Annual Fund renewals for donors who wish to have their name listed in the 2008 Gameday Program. Pledges received after July 9 will not be listed in the football game program.

The Big Green is the fundraising arm of the Marshall University athletic Department and provides funding for the university's more than 350 student athletes. Contributions go to support all of Marshall's men's and women's athletic programs and are 80% tax deductible.

There are multiple yearly donation levels as listed below:

Herd: $50-$149

Green Buffalo: $150-$299

Bronze Buffalo: $300-$599

Silver Buffalo: $600-$1199

Gold Buffalo: $1200-$2499

Coach's Circle: $2500-$4999

Director's Circle: $5000-$12,399

Green Scholar: $12,400-$19,299

Herd Scholar: $19,300+
