HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University men's soccer team will start its three game home stand against the Bowling Green Falcons Saturday at Sam Hood Field.

The Thundering Herd comes into Saturday's contest with a record of 0-7 and the Falcons enter the contest at 3-4.

Marshall and Bowling Green have met 10 times dating back to the 1979 season with the Falcons holding a 4-6 record against the Herd. The Herd are currently on a two-game winning streak taking the last meeting in 2004 at Bowling Green, 5-2.

Leading Bowling Green is junior Jacob Lawrence who has scored four goals for the Falcons this year.

Marshall has had six different players each net a goal including senior Jira Cooley (Seattle, Wash.) who found his first of the year against Butler in the Dayton Tournament.
