HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University women's soccer head coach Chris Kane announced the Thundering Herd's 2008 spring schedule Friday.

"The schedule will allow us to accomplish the goals the coaches have set for the spring," head coach Kane stated. "With a roster of 17, the schedule will give each player ample opportunity to showcase their talents for next fall."

The Herd's spring will consist of five road-trips beginning with the University of Charleston on Friday, Feb. 29 with a 5 p.m. kick-off. Marshall will close-out the spring season with two games at Blacksburg, Va. against the University of Richmond and Virginia Tech on Saturday, April 19.

Marshall will also face Morehead State, Ohio University, Liberty University and Concorde University.

The Herd's spring season conference break-down comprises of two West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents, an Atlantic 10, Ohio Valley Conference, Mid-American Conference, Big South, and Atlantic Coast Conference foes.
