COLUMBUS, Ohio - Marshall University women's track will make one final stop before conference championships as they are slated to compete in the 23rd annual Jesse Owens Classic hosted by Ohio State University.

Last week sophomore Andrea Jackson set the school record in the outdoor triple jump leaping 12.71m and finished sixth at the Penn Relays.

Keeping up with her phenomenal senior year, Rachel Blankenship finished in second place in the shot put with a throw of 14.26m. In the six outdoor meets so far this year for the Thundering Herd, Blankenship has finished in the top ten five times.

The first event will begin Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. and closing up Saturday night.
