Bentley Berlin, a local businessman, has been elected president of the McNeese Quarterback Club for the 2008-09 school year.

Berlin had served the past year as the president elect.

The Quarterback Club is a booster organization for the McNeese football program and meets weekly during the football season.

Joining Berlin as officers for the club this coming year will be Scott Doyle as president elect, Richard Byrd as vice president, Marlene Caldarera as secretary and Susan Mouhot as treasurer.

Members of the board of directors will be Joey Alcede, Dewayne Bruette, David Buttross III, Bob Crooks, Brad Mayo, Paul Moreno, Dale Myers and James Palma.
