McNeese State completed the first week of its Cowboy/Cowgirl roundup tour in Jennings on Thursday.

More than 100 fans showed up for the event that was held at the fairgrounds.

Next week the tour will make its final three stops. The first will be in Basile at the high school on Monday followed by a function in the civic center in Lake Charles on Wednesday. The final night of the second annual tour will be Thursday in Houston at Minute Maid Center.

Previously this week the tour had been in DeRidder and Lafayette.

All of McNeese's head coaches are taking part in the tour which is bringing Cowboy and Cowgirl athletic programs to Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas.

The events are free to all and run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with refreshments, posters, schedule cards and door prizes available.
