McNeese State's softball game at LSU scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight has been canceled due to inclement weather and will not be rescheduled. After a 45 minute rain delay and more rain expected in the Baton Rouge area, game administrators canceled the game.

McNeese's next outing will be this weekend when the Cowgirls return to Southland Conference play with a three game series at Texas-Arlington beginning with a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday. The series will conclude with a single game at noon Sunday. The Cowgirls' next home series will be April 12-13 against Southeastern Louisiana.
