Women's Tennis Sweeps Central ArKansas :: Cowgirls Conclude Regular Season At Northwestern State Sunday

CONWAY -- McNeese State's women's tennis team swept Central Arkansas 7-0 here Saturday in a Southland Conference match to improve to 8-11 overall and 3-7 in Southland Conference play. Central Arkansas fell to 2-14 overall and 0-10 in conference play.

McNeese took the doubles point by winning all three matches then went on to win all six singles matches for the overall match victory.

The no. 1 singles match wasn't completed due to an injury to UCA's Petra Keilova, giving McNeese State's Meri Gol Alamo the victory.

McNeese went on to win the other five singles in straight sets. The Cowgirls will conclude the regular season today with a 10 a.m. match at Northwestern State.
