Tennis Team Drops Heartbreaker At Northwestern State
April 13, 2008 NATCHITOCHES-- McNeese State's women's tennis team concluded the regular season with a heartbreaking 4-3 loss at Northwestern State here Sunday to fall to 8-12 overall and 3-8 in league play. Northwestern State improved 15-6 overall and 9-1 in conference play. After dropping the doubles point, the Cowgirls regrouped and nearly pulled off an upset. McNeese won its points from the no. 1 singles where Meri Gol Alamo defeated Bogusia Patzer 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, Victoria Martinez defeated Adna Curukovic 7-6, 6-3 and Inga Efimenko defeated Dragana Colic 7-5, 6-4. |
