McNeese State's women's tennis team will host Louisiana-Lafayette at noon today in its home opener at the Recreational Courts on campus.

McNeese (0-1) dropped its season opener to Louisiana-Monroe last Thursday by a 5-2 score in Monroe. Newcomer Meri Gol Alamo and sophomore Inga Efimenko picked up two victories in singles to record the Cowgirls points. Alamo won the no. 1 singles match while Efimenko was victorious at the no. 6 singles.

The Cowgirls will continue play this week when they will travel to Southern this Saturday for a 1:30 match.
